Instead of hiring a clown or a magician for your child's party, why not provide your guests with an art activity that's fun and inspiring?   Host a Book-Making Party!*

I'll spend an hour with groups of up to 18 guests, ages 6-12, to guide and inspire them to create a fun and fabulous book project that they can take home.  I bring all art materials; you only need to provide table space. 

What can we make in an hour? Possibilities include:

• Miniature book necklace: kids create a tiny book with polymer clay covers that they wear on a cord as a necklace
• Ribbon-tied accordion book with pop-ups
• 2-hole "rubber-band book" which can utilize branches, chopsticks, straws, many different items as part of the binding
• Mini book "purse"
